This quote, from clothier, Sid Mashburn, is the perfect explanation of the paradox of choice. I’ve stumbled around describing the paradox; Mashburn nailed (or pinned) it. My stab usually goes like this- having too many choices make us just as unhappy as having too few. But that fails to get to the heart of the matter- the right choices.
When the choices have been culled to only “right”, you really can’t go wrong.
